WATCH: Pakistani Journalist Makes Big Blunder, Addresses Cricketer Twice With Wrong Name; He Reacts!

Pakistan cricket team has always been in the news for all the wrong reason and now its Pakistani journalist who is making headlines. At the end of Day 2 of the first Test between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, Sri Lanka wicketkeeper-batsman Niroshan Dickwella had an embarrassing moment during a press conference. 

Dickwella gracefully handled the situation after a Pakistan journalist, mistook him to be his teammate Dhananjaya de Silva on two instances. 

The moment happened when, the journalist asked Dickwella a question which was meant for de Silva, who scored 72 during the match. 

In the video, even before the journalist could ask his first question Dickwella interrupted. “I’m Dickwella actually. I’m not de Silva, ” he clarified. But that did not stop the journalist from asking him the question again and repeated his question a little louder.

The journalist said if he was planning for a hundred score on that pitch because he batted really well on the difficult pitch. After listening to him, Dickwella once again made it clear that he wasn’t who the journalist thought he was. 

He then laughed and stated with a chuckle that he was Dickwella, not de Silva. Further clarifying himself, he said that he had already got out and was in the pavilion.
