Watch: New Zealand Bowler Makes Biggest Mistake On Field, Falls To Ground After Blunder!
Home > News Shots > Sports newsDuring Day 4 of the third test in the on-going series between New Zealand and Australia, spinner Todd Astle made headlines after a massive blunder.
During the match, New Zealand spinner Todd Astle missed taking Australia’s rising star Marnus Labuschagne's wicket, who had just entered to bat and had made 4 runs.
In the video, Todd Astle delivered the ball straight to Labuschagne, who hit the ball right back into his hands but sadly Astle failed to catch it in time and dropped it. The spinner who knew the worth of the wicket remained on the ground for a few seconds with his hands on his head.
Rising star Labuschagne has been playing brilliantly since last month. He had also scored a double century in the first innings in the same match. Even, former cricketer Shane Warne, who was with his fellow commentator expressed himself saying- "Oh dropped him, can u believe it? Well, as far as caught and bowls come, we saw Nathan Lyon drop a couple yesterday. This is as easy as they come".
