Young Cricketer Dies By Suicide At His Home; Police Reveal Details
Home > News Shots > Sports newsIn a sad and shocking case, a 27-year old young cricketer from Mumbai reportedly committed suicide at his Malad home on Monday night (August 10).
The cricketer identified as Karan Tiwari was not part of the Mumbai professional cricket team but was a net bowler for them.
As per Times Now report, the reason for his death is unknown but he was suspected to be suffering from depression as his career was said to be ruined due to the deadly pandemic. So far, no death note has been found, but an accidental death case was filed by Kurar police.
Karan, who belongs to an average middle-class family, used to live with his mother and brother in Malad. As per the city police, Karan called one of his close friends in Mumbai and told him that he was depressed and was planning to end his life. Soon after his conversation, Karan’s friend told all these things to his sister who also lives in Rajasthan, Times Now further reported.
After she informed her mother it was too late! On Monday night ( August 10) around 10:30, Karan went to his room and locked the door, by the time the door was broken, he was found dead, the police added.
Reports also suggest that the 27-years old was struggling to get a chance to play in the senior team.
