Chief Selector MSK Prasad Speaks on Dhoni's Retirement!

After India Skipper Virat Kohli posted a photo of him with MS Dhoni captioning, “A game I can never forget. Special night. This man, made me run like in a fitness test,” speculations on Dhoni’s retirement coming soon flooded the internet.

However, Chief Selector MSK Prasad cleared the air today by brushing off the news as incorrect. “No update on MS Dhoni’s retirement, the news is incorrect,” he was quoted as saying by ANI.

MS Dhoni made himself unavailable for the upcoming three-match Test series against South Africa starting October 2. The 15-member squad which was announced today (September 12) by the BCCI triggers excitement for all the good reasons.

Regular ODI opener Rohit Sharma is all set to don the same role in Test cricket while KL Rahul whose recent form raised questions and doubts has been replaced with Kolkata Knight Riders star player Shubam Gill.
