MS Dhoni Takes Stunning Catch Without Gloves Then Breaks IPL Record; Twitter Instantly Reacts! 

The match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, got MS Dhoni once again in the spotlight for his amazing catch without his gloves on. With that stunning catch, Dhoni has become the keeper with the highest catches in IPL history.

There was one collective response in the commentary box when CSK captain MS Dhoni took an astonishing catch to dismiss KKR bowler Shivam Mavi, it was “Who says he is old?” He overtook his KKR counterpart Dinesh Karthik. 

Currently, Dhoni has 104 catches in the IPL while Karthik has 103. Talking about the catch, it took place in the last over of the KKR innings, when Bravo bowled a wide fuller length delivery to Shivam Mavi who was playing his first ball. Mavi, who went for a big heave but got an outside edge.

Meanwhile, Dhoni, who had just taken the gloves off to free his right hand for a throw, flew in the air towards his right and caught the ball with his bare right hands. Mahi then dived forward to complete a sensational catch which has now gone viral! 

With this catch, Dhoni also made Dwayne Bravo to complete 150 wickets in the IPL. Bravo ended up with 3 for 37 and was one of the pick of the bowlers. Talking about the match, CSK suffered yet another defeat in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 as KKR overpowered CSK by 10 runs.
