CSKvsRR: MS Dhoni Backs Out Let Deepak Chahar Take Catch; Wins Hearts on Twitter | Watch Video
Home > News Shots > Sports newsIn a rare moment between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) match, MS Dhoni was seen moving away from bowler Deepak Chahar to let him take the catch and send debutant U-19 star Yashasvi Jaiswal back to the pavilion.
The moment happened when the U-19 star Yashasvi, who was looking all set with the bat got out at 6 runs. Dhoni, who is known to guide younger cricketers on and off the field did the same this time too. He moved away from bowler Deepak Chahar to let him take the perfect catch of Yashasvi.
Yashasvi, who had hit a fabulous hundred against Pakistan in the Under-19 World-Cup, has been touted as the next best thing for the Indian cricket. In the match against CSK, Yashasvi, who seemed to make it big against Dhoni-led team, eventually was outdone by them.
In the video, Yashasvi had hit a four off a short pitch delivery from Chahar that didn’t bounce much but persisted with him with the short-ball and got the edge of Yashasvi’s bat.
Yashasvi later tried to pull the ball edging the ball straight up in the air and that’s when Dhoni’s quick thinking helped in getting his wicket which sadly ended Yashasvi innings on 6 off 6 balls.
Check out Dhoni's brilliance that made Chahar pick that cool catch:
