"MS Dhoni has scolded me alot in IPL," says Deepak Chahar

One of the most loved and adored cricketer MS Dhoni, is known to put confidence in young cricketers. His guidance and scoldings have placed budding cricketers to high extremes.

Among all the young and budding cricketers, one such player who has benefitted from Dhoni is Deepak Chahar. He is currently making headlines with his skills and performance in the series. 

After joining CSK in the year 2018, his luck shined on him because he was under Dhoni's premier asset. At a recent interview with Times of India (ToI), Chahar, who is grabbing the limelight credits his success to CSK skipper MS Dhoni. "I want to give all the credit to the IPL. I have learnt a lot at CSK and from Dhoni bhai. How to read the body language of a batsman and then bowl accordingly".

Past few days, Chahar is stealing the limelight after he took six wickets and helped India register a 2-1 series win over Bangladesh. 

Further speaking on Dhoni's guidance, Chahar stated "He (Dhoni) has scolded me a lot also on the field. I have learnt a lot from those incidents too. He will observe you from behind the wickets. It has happened quite often, when he has told me a couple of things before bowling a delivery and I have ended up taking a wicket."

Highlighting over one special skill that he has learned from Dhoni, Chahar asserted, "Bowling in the death overs isn't easy at all. This is the main thing I have learnt from him. Those things that I learnt from Dhoni bhai are helping me a lot at the international level".
