It is a big blow to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) as all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been ruled out of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season.

SRH All-Rounder Mitchell Marsh Ruled Out of IPL 2020; Replacement Announced!

This big decision was taken after he injured his ankle during the team’s opening game against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). This will be a huge setback for Marsh himself who was looking to make a mark after fairing well in the ODI series against England.

Talking about his injury, Marsh sustained an ankle injury while bowling his first over of the match and had to leave the field after delivering only four balls. He later courageously came out to bat at number 10 when SRH needed around 21 runs in the last two overs. But sadly, he bagged a golden duck and the injury worsened.

During the game, he could not stand while RCB players supported him, and then SRH physio had to come in to take him back to the pavilion.

The official Twitter handle of SRH confirmed the news of Mitchell Marsh getting ruled out and a replacement has also been announced. It is none other than West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder as his replacement.
