Kolkata Knight Riders won by 31 runs in the 44th Indian Premier League match against Kings XI Punjab held at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore. KXIP won the toss and chose to put KKR to bat first, who managed to hit a massive 245 runs, the largest score ever to be hit in this season. While KXIP came close and hit 214 runs, they were still unable to reach the target.

 

KL Rahul top-scored for KXIP with 66 runs out of 29 balls and Andre Russell took three wickets for KKR. KKR's win placed them back in the top four in the points table. The next match will take place today at 8 pm between Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Feroz Shah Kotla Ground, Delhi.
