The chasing was important for both Afghanistan and India for various reasons. In such a tense situation, during the third over bowled by Shami, Afghani opener Hazratullah Zazai seemed to have caught him right in front of the stumps. But both umpire Aleem Dar and the third umpire turned it down.
Unhappy with this, Kohli went straightaway to the umpire and argued with folded hands as he believed that more than 50% of the ball had pitched within the stumps.
But Kohli's folded hands pose became a meme much like his other expressions with the recent one being exclaiming at Vijay Shankar for taking a wicket in first ball. Soon, tweeple came up with tweets relating it to real-life situations. Here are some:
