“Till the time I am playing IPL, I am never leaving this team”: Kohli Promises his loyalty Towards RCB

He shared that he would not leave RCB, considering his remarkable journey in the Indian Premier League.
“It has been such an amazing journey. It is always going to be our dream, winning the IPL together. There is no scenario where I could think of leaving the team ever,” he said. Having been with the franchise since 2008, Kohli expressed that lifting the trophy has been the ultimate goal.
“You can feel emotional about the season not going well but till the time I am playing IPL, I am never leaving this team. The fans, their loyalty has been amazing,” he added.
Reminiscing, the Indian skipper recollected the first time he met AB de Villiers, “I remember the first time we met after you were picked up by RCB. It was in Johannesburg and we came down the tunnel. You guys were finishing practice and we were just starting ours. I came and said hello and said we are going to be teammates and you were like 'I am excited for that'. Such a brief chat. 9 years we have been such good friends and such a great journey. Yeah, it's been wonderful.”
AB de Villiers added that he was apprehensive of befriending Kohli initially, but with time, he trusted him as he learnt more about him.
Both the players discussed ways by which people can stay positive during these difficult times.
