"Phoenix Paravai" Performance from KKR

In the first innings, David Warner smashed 85 runs off just 53 delivers at the top and Vijay Shankar managed to finish off the innings well for the SRH getting of 40 off just 23 balls, taking them to a respectable total of 181/3 in the 20 overs.

In return, KKR had a decent start in the powerplay in spite of losing Chris Lynn early getting, with Rana and Uthappa going steadily.  But they slowly tapered off as the SRH bowlers put pressure on the KKR batsman and the required rate kept climbing. Thanks to Nitish Rana, KKR were never out of the game as he scored 68 off 47 balls, but when he lost his wicket to Rashid Khan in the 16th over, SRH were on top.  They did keep it tight as KKR needed 53 runs from the last 3 overs.

But, Andre Russell then took charge, and there was no bowler who was capable of stopping him from here. He got it down to 13 runs needed off the last over and Shubman Gill completed the formalities by depositing two sixes to his name. KKR were really down and out untill Andre Russell came and got them to the finish line out of nowhere.
