Shocking - Jadeja's wife meets with an accident, gets assaulted by police

Cricketer Ravindra Jadeja's wife, Riva Solanki on Monday met with a minor accident and hit a police constable's bike in Gujarat's Jamnagar. Following the accident, she was reportedly assaulted by the constable and thrashed mercilessly.

Sajay Ahir, the constable was detained for his misconduct. He allegedly thrashed Riva for hitting his bike. One of the eyewitnesses even alleged that the constable pulled Riva's hair. 

The police reportedly said, "The policeman physically assaulted Riva Jadeja after her car hit his motorbike. We are providing all possible help to her and will take strict action against the policeman."

Jadeja is currently playing for Chennai Super Kings in the 11th season of the Indian Premier League. He will be seen in action at the Qualifier 1 on Tuesday against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
