Not to mention, his phenomenal contribution to Team India has garnered him a lot of fans around the nation and recently the Government of India conferred him with the Arjuna Award. Meanwhile, one of the training session videos of Jadeja is going viral on Social Media.
The video was shared by one of the facebook users on his profile which has been attracting many cricket fans. The video was made through the Tik Tok application which showcases Jadeja's splendid fitness, superfast legs and mindblowing accuracy to catch the ball hit above in the air.
The video begins with Jadeja running to touch the stump while the person with a bat and ball hits the ball high in the air. Jadeja keeps his eye glued to the ball flying above besides controlling the pace of his running on the ground. In what appears like a superfast flash, he just dives across the ground to take the spectacular catch. One of the facebook users commented on the video as "Verithanam" ( high on enthusiasm).
Presently, Jadeja holds the No:4 position in the ICC rankings for Test all-rounders. Since India is touring in the West Indies, Jadeja could not take part in the Arjuna Award ceremony that took place on August 29 (Thursday) at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan in New Delhi.
Jadeja knocked a half-century and picked two wickets in the 1st Test against West Indies, thus contributing to India's massive 318-run victory. India will face West Indies in the 2nd and final Test match on August 30 (Friday) at Sabina Park stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.
