Rajeev Shukla requests for tight security for players

According to reports, IPL chairperson Rajeev Shukla on Tuesday requested the Home Secretary to ensure security for the players and the game.

This comes after the agitation in Chennai from political parties as the central government did not take action in urging the Karnataka government to form Cauvery Management Board.

The Supreme Court ordered for the formation of Cauvery Management Board after the verdict in the distribution of Cauvery water for Tamil Nadu.
