Mumbai Indians defeated Kings XI Punjab in Friday’s match in Indore by six wickets. KXIP scored a competitive 174 runs after losing six wickets at the end of 20 overs. Opener Chris Gayle hit 50 runs off 40 balls. MI had an excellent start with opener Suryakumar Yadav’s 42-ball 57 knock. Krunal Pandya (31 off 12 balls) and skipper Rohit Sharma (24 off 15 balls) helped MI win the match by sending the balls to stands in the last overs.
