Currently, he holds the purple cap for being the leading run-scorer in the tournament and is also running a close race with Delhi Capitals' Kagiso Rabada.
In IPL 2020, KXIP has played four games so far among which Shami has picked up an impressive eight wickets with less than eight runs per over. After impressing fans on the field, Shami's recent image on Instagram has left fans confused and worried.
Taking to his instagram account, Shami posted a photo of himself enjoying in the swimming pool. Minutes after the photo went viral, the eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot big red spots on his back and instantly commented with their queries.
It seems that the pacer had gone for a cupping therapy a couple of days ago. It is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on the individual’s skin for a few minutes to create suction and feel relaxed.
Looking into the graph, Shami has claimed seven wickets from four matches in IPL 2020, at an economy of 7.45, which is way better than his career IPL economy of 8.90, where he has a haul of 47 wickets from 54 matches.
