The MS Dhoni-led team might rope in some high-profile, experienced players and release a few non-performing ones. Speaking of the current squad, one cannot deny that some players are being underrated and that they deserve considerable number of opportunities in the next edition. Here are three such players.
1 - Narayan Jagadeesan
Bought by CSK for 20 Lakhs during IPL 2018 auctions, Jagadeesan was not tried by the team even once. The wicket-keeper batsman carries a decent record in 1st class and List A matches with an average of 41.9 and 34.3 respectively.
2 - Murali Vijay
The Tamil Nadu batsman has shown some impressive displays of power-hitting for CSK. A clean hitter of the ball, he possesses the gift of timing. Both in 2018 and 2019, Vijay was not given many opportunities to showcase what he had.
3 - Sam Billings
The English wicketkeeper-batsman was bought by CSK in 2018 and gave a match-winning performance that year. In 2019, he was let out only once.
