RCB: 176/7

After the Powerplay, here is how the 1st innings played out:

Overs 15-20:

1. Sarfaraz and Mandeep could not fire enough to increase the run rate. KKR bowled and fielded well.

2. The 18th over - bowled by Sunil Narine - was expensive, going for 12.

3. Mitchell picked up Sarfaraz in the first ball of the 19th. In came Chris Woakes.

4. Mandeep strived on, starting the 20th with a six, four and six. Vinay Kumar, who bowled, got him caught out in the 5th ball though. Vinay also got out Woakes in the last. The over went for 16.

Overs 10 - 15:

1. RCB faired much better in the 11th over, bowled by Sunil. With a six and a four by AB and Virat respectively, they got 14 off it.

2. Mitchell started the 12th with what the umpire decided to be the end of AB - caught behind by Dinesh. AB reviewed, and the decision was reversed due to no contact with the bat.

3. AB retaliated for the troubles with a four that brought the 100 for RCB. He did not stop there and added a six - putting pressure on Mitchell. The over went for 10.

4. Virat accelerated in the 13th - bowled by Piyush - with a six. The duo rotated the strike well. The over went for 10.

5. Andre Russell came in for the 14th and bowled well against the set batsmen. The over went for just 5 runs.

6. AB, who hit a six off the first ball of Nitish Rana, got caught out in the next. He scored 44 from 23.

7. Nitish went ahead and surprised everyone by getting Virat bowled in the very next ball. He was on a hat-trick. In came Sarfaraz Khan and Mandeep Singh. The over was expensive though, going for 11.

RCB after 15 overs: 132/4

OVERS 6 TO 10

1. Sunil Narine started off with a tight over, going for just 2 runs. KKR was building pressure on the RCB batsmen.

2. Mitchell Johnson came in to bowl the 8th, and Baz relieved himself of some pressure, with a couple of boundaries. Virat did not have a big role to play - he had only made 11 of 19 deliveries. The over went for 9.

3. Sunil came back for the 9th and bowled McCullum out for 43 of 27 balls. In came AB de Villiers, but Sunil still contained the over with giving away just 3 runs.

4. Kuldeep bowled the 10th, and the champion batting pair rotated the strike well although the big shots were missing until AB blasted 2 sixes in the 5th and 6th balls and brought some cheer to the crowd.

At the end of 10 overs, RCB: 82/2

Virat Kohli: 14 from 23

AB de Villiers: 16 from 6
