Defending champions Mumbai Indians defeated Chennai Super Kings by 8 wickets on Saturday to register their second win of the season.
Batting first, CSK managed to score 169/5 from their 20 overs. Suresh Raina was the top scorer with his unbeaten 75 runs off 47 balls. Ambati Rayudu chipped in with a 35 ball 46 as Dhoni scored 26 runs off 21 deliveries. MI bowlers Mitchell McClenaghan and Krunal Pandya picked up two wickets each.
Chasing the tricky target, MI got off to a steady start as openers Suryakumar Yadav - 44 (34) and Evin Lewis - 47 (43) constructed an important partnership. MI captain Rohit sharma guided his team to victory with his unbeaten 56 runs off 33 balls.
Even with the lose, CSK managed to stay at the top of the points table with its strong run rate.
