Home > News Shots > Sports newsTeam India is gearing up for its first-ever Pink Ball Test in India. They will lock horns with Bangladesh in the second game of the two-match series at Eden Gardens in Kolkata from November 22.
Before Team India hits the field, the management have decided to have a practice session with the new ball in Indore so that they can have minimal experience with it.
According to The Cricket Times report, the first batsman to face the challenge (Pink Ball) was Virat Kohli. Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara also practiced with the pink ball and expressed their excitement.
Meanwhile, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared videos on Twitter talking about the challenges that await the Indian team.
"Pujara, Rahane looking forward to the historic pink-ball Test. Ahead of the Test series, #TeamIndia batsmen @ajinkyarahane88 and @cheteshwar1 are excited to play the pink-ball Test and consider adaptation the key," BCCI tweeted.
