Video: Imran Tahir And Colin Munro Involve In Heated Exchange After Wicket Celebration
Home > News Shots > Sports newsThe ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL), has been one of the most entertaining leagues for fans. From nail-biting moments to bizarre incidents, all have been captured during the match.
Recently, a much talked about moment took place when spinner Imran Tahir and batsman Colin Munro were involved in a fiery exchange. They both are currently playing for PSL 2020; Tahir is in Multan Sultans team while Munro is playing for Islamabad United.
The incident took place right after Imran Tahir dismissed Colin Munro in the fifth over of Islamabad United’s innings. In the video, Munro miscued the shot and the ball was caught by Sohail Tanvir; excited Tahir began his trademark celebration.
However, Munro was not at all impressed with the leg-spinner’s celebration, he turned back to say a few things while walking back to the pavilion. To which, Tahir responded in an animated manner. Post the match, Munro opened up on the altercation and stated that he called Imran Tahir a clown for his celebration.
“I am tired of seeing him (Imran Tahir) celebrate like that and I called him a clown and he took it the wrong way and then you saw what he said to me, so we will leave it at that, eh?,” said Munro.
