Post the match, Chris Gayle took to his Twitter handle and shared a message for the fans. He jokingly asked the fans to keep watching IPL even after he is not part of the tournament anymore.

“Plz continue to watch @IPL even though my season has come to an end. Thank you.

Hours after Chris Gayle’s tweet went viral, Iceland Cricket trolled the West Indian legend. “Dear India. I know it’s hard, but please at least try and show an interest in massively popular and successful tournament you’ve created, even though I am not playing in it this week. There are probably some other players worth watching. Maybe,” Iceland Cricket wrote.
