ICC T20 World Cup 2020 Qualifying Format Released; India in Super 12s!
Home > News Shots > Sports newsWhile Australia is gearing up to host the ICC T20 World Cup between October 18 and November 15 in 2020, the Qualifying format for the tournament has been released. A total of 16 countries including Papua New Guinea, Ireland, Oman, Netherlands, Namibia, Scotland and top ten ranked teams will participate.
The tournament will have an initial two groups (A & B) spearheaded by Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Group A will have Papua New Guinea, Ireland, Oman, and Sri Lanka while Group B will have Netherlands, Namibia, Scotland, and Bangladesh. The top two teams from both the group will qualify for the Super 12 stage.
