Home > News Shots > Sports newsIn the third One-day International (ODI) against Australia, Hardik Pandya smashed unbeaten 92 to earn an elusive victory for Team India.
During the match, Hardik Pandya’s magical knock helped team India register a 13 runs victory over Australia to avoid a clean sweep in the series by hosts. It was not just Pandya even Jadeja scored (66 not out off 50 balls), which helped India make a stunning recovery.

Post the match while speaking to former Australia spinner Shane Warne, Hardik praised T. Natarajan, who made his ODI debut at the Manuka Oval, and termed his journey as "inspiration".
Also when asked if he is taking over the mantle of rockstar in the team from Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik replied saying, "I am fine if Jadeja keeps that role (rockstar of the team). I am a father now, so I would like to rather be called a dad now".
"Natarajan is quite a story, quite an inspiration with the background he's come from," Hardik added.
After the game, Hardik was adjudged player of the match for his unbeaten half-century that made Team India score a 302 for five from their allotted 50 overs. Meanwhile, Hardik along with Jadeja put on 150 runs for the sixth wicket. Other than Natarajan, Shardul Thakur, played his first match on the tour of Australia.
Both teams will meet again on Friday for the first of the three Twenty20 Internationals.
