During the 24th game, which was between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi, batsman Haider Ali, received a massive reprieve as the bails didn’t fall despite the ball hitting the stumps.
The match which took place in Lahore, made headlines after Peshawar Zalmi batsman Haider Ali received a massive reprieve and also became the youngest batsman to score a 50 in PSL.
The epic incident happened on the first delivery of the 11th over when batsman Ali’s attempted to hit a delivery from Lahore Qalandars bowler David Wiese. The ball hit his elbow before hitting the stumps. Because of this, the host saved a wicket as they saw Ali and Shoaib Malik (62) with a 116-run partnership.
Not forgetting, during the match - 19-year-old Ali became the youngest batsman to score a half-century in the history of the tournament. Meanwhile, watch the video below:
