Two Karnataka cricketers CM Gautam and Abrar Kazi have been arrested by the Central Crime Branch Bangalore for their alleged involvement in the Karnataka Premier League fixing scandal.

Ever since, the Karnataka Premier League (KPL) spot-fixing scandal came to light, more details have made headlines. In the latest development, the Crime Branch has arrested two high-profile domestic names. 

According to News18 report, both the players are now facing legal action for their alleged involvement in the fixing scandal.

During the tournament, CM Gautam and Kazi played for Bellary Tuskers. If you go to seen, Gautam was the one to lead the team and make it to the final.

According to Sportstar reports, both the KPL players were paid Rs 20 lakhs for batting slow in the final. 

Gautam who is currently playing for Goa in domestic cricket while Kazi, plays for Mizoram for the Syed Myshtaq Ali T20, which begins on Friday. 

Reports suggest that both their name are likely to drop after the latest development. Further investigations are on and more arrests are likely to happen.
