The England and Wales Cricket Board has reportedly proposed a 100-ball-a side format for a domestic competition involving eight city-based men’s and women’s teams. Under the proposal, a side will face 15 regular 6-ball overs, followed by a final 10-ball over. While the proposal is yet to get final approval, the five-week competition reportedly begins in 2020.
