In the 34th match of ICC World Cup 2019, India won West Indies by 125 runs despite setting a target of 269 runs. Though except for 2 half centuries by Dhoni and Virat and a stunning knock by Pandya and an initial opening by KL Rahul, the batsmen didn't perform their best.

However, the bowlers had their field day with Shami taking 4 wickets giving only 16 runs in 6.2 overs and clinching the last wicket just like the last game with Afghanistan and Bumrah getting a maiden over and giving only 9 runs in 6 overs taking 2 wickets.

Though Dhoni was criticised for his number of dot balls and increasing the pressure, the wicketkeeper went on to score a half century and finished the game with his signature six.

Nomatter how much he was criticised, the batsman was super lucky as he escaped run out twice in the same ball and Hope, though he was closer to his end, still aimed at taking Dhoni's wicket down. Unfortunately for Hope, Dhoni escaped and stayed till the end of 50 overs.
