MS Dhoni Becomes First Indian To Achieve This Milestone In International Cricket

During the Asia Cup final between India and Bangladesh, Dhoni became the first Asian cricketer to register 800+ dismissals in international cricket. He is now third in the list of most number of dismissals in Test, ODIs, and T20Is combined. The former skipper is behind South African Mark Boucher (998) and Australia's Adam Gilchrist (905).
Dhoni registered his 800th dismissal in the 43rd over of the match. With his dismissals in the Asia Cup final, Dhoni has now extended his lead for the most stumpings in international cricket. Dhoni is followed by Kumar Sangakkara (139) and Romesh Kaluwitharana (101).
Dhoni's milestone comes after he led the Indian team or a record 200th time in the last Super Fours game against Afghanistan.
