The Delhi Capitals after winning the toss decided to field first since they were not sure about what would be a good target to set.

Delhi Capitals win after losing 3 wickets in 6 balls!!!RCB lose 6 in a row!!!

This was not the regular free stroking Bengaluru pitch that we got to see in the previous match. Parthiv Patel lost his wicket in the second over of the innings and the Delhi Capitals were right on target. They didn't bowl too many bad deliveries as the RCB batsman found it tough to get going. Virat Kohli was just dealing in singles as AB Devillers and Stoinis got in and got out. Moeen Ali provided the much-needed impetus scoring 32 off just 18 balls before he got out.  Kohli was on 26 runs off 27 deliveries at the 16 over mark which was very uncharacteristic for him. He then went for a couple of maximums against Lamichhane and then got out for 41 off 33 balls. Rabada Bowled a brilliant spell picking up 4 wickets for 21 runs that helped to restrict RCB to a below-par total of 149.

In return, the Delhi Capitals lost Dhawan early on in the innings, but, Shaw and Iyer then batted very well to get a 68 runs partnership.  Captain Iyer getting batting positively as they got little partnerships with Ingram and Rishabh pant. Iyer finally got out for a well made 67 from 50 balls in the 18th over that triggered a little collapse again for the Delhi Capitals. Morris and Pant fell in quick succession as they lost 3 wickets in 6 balls but just 3 runs needed from there, the Delhi Capitals won the game.

The RCB have now lost 6 matches and have not been able to get a win. They will look at their batting performance today and will know that they were easily 20 runs short on that pitch. Another recurring problem has been their fielding as they continue to drop catches. They have to find inspiration from somewhere to get some wins on the board.
The Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, will be happy with their performance, but would still look at the mini-collapse at the end of the innings which they should avoid in the future games to go further in the tournament.
