CSK Shares A 'Special' Tribute To Legendary Singer SP Balasubrahmanyam and Dean Jones; Post Goes Viral!
Home > News Shots > Sports newsThe demise of legendary singer S. P. Balasubrahmanyam has shocked the world. Ever since the news of singer SPB's death made headlines, world icons to fans have all poured out their love and respect for him on social media.
Balasubrahmanyam died at a Chennai hospital on Friday afternoon. He was admitted to Chennai hospital MGM healthcare for COVID-19 on August 5. After a few weeks, the singer tested negative but continued to remain on ventilator. Meanwhile, Jones succumbed to a massive cardiac arrest earlier this week.
As millions poured out their love for the legendary stars, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) players too paid tribute to veteran singer SP Balasubrahmanyam and former Australian cricketer Dean Jones by wearing black armbands in their IPL game against Delhi Capitals on Friday.
CSK also took to their official twitter handle saying, "The Super Kings are wearing black armbands in memory of Dean Jones and SP Balasubrahmanyam. One had an absolutely iconic day at Chepauk, the other's life has changed and shaped all of us in so many ways.
