CSK Should Release 4 Players Ahead of IPL 2021 Season; Check List Here! 

The year 2020 was full of surprises for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the Yellow Army fans. The delayed edition of the 13th Indian Premier League has been full of shocks and surprises.

Among the many teams, one that hurt fans a lot was CSK failing to book a spot in the playoffs for the first time in the history of the competition.

After being in the 7th position of the points table, it was evident that the yellow army could not live up to the standards. With CSK's low performance in IPL 2020, there would be few players who might be shown the exit door prior to the upcoming auction for IPL 2021.

With pressure from fans and media, MS Dhoni and support staff are expected to make some tough calls or decisions for the upcoming season. Below are the 4 Players that CSK should release ahead of IPL 2021:

- Kedar Jadhav: He accumulated as much as 63 runs in 8 outings for the yellow outfit. As he was unable to play his role to perfection, the Chennai skipper was forced to sit for the rest of the season. During matches he faced criticism for his ridiculous form. He scored at an average of 20.66. However, Kedar Jadhav may face the heat prior to the IPL 14 auction.

- Piyush Chawla: After not living up to his standards in the team, the spinner could pick only 6 wickets at the expense of 191 runs. Looking at his performance in IPL 13, the ageing cricketer is expected to be up for grabs in the upcoming auction.

- Dwayne Bravo: The Caribbean star has always been a fans’ delight due to his outstanding wits and cricketing brain. He has been with CSK since the tournament’s inception in 2008. But in IPl 2020, nothing seems to go right in Bravo's favour. 

Taking a look at his performance with the bat, Bravo's charm has racked only 7 runs in 6 matches and picked 6 wickets with the ball. Making it more worse for him, Bravo also succumbed to a major injury which had forced him to bow out from the tournament.

- Murali Vijay: The Tamil-Nadu based batsman has been the biggest disappointment for the CSK team.Vijay with the bat scored 33 and 40, shielding the middle-order from the new ball. Murali, who remained off-coloured managed to amass 32 runs in 3 matches which can close his chances to make it to the playing XI after the poor rendition.
