CSK's star player Shane Watson signs up for new T20 team

Shane Watson, an Australian cricketer and CSK's star player, is roped in to play for Khulna Titans in the Bangladesh Premier League T20. The officials confirmed on Thursday that he is one of the two direct overseas signings for the team in the upcoming season which is set to start in December this year.

"Khulna Titans is excited to have Shane Watson join the franchise. He is a true champion, having won many titles for his country and the franchise teams he has represented around the world. His experience and his winning mentality will contribute significantly to the team. Hopefully Shane will propel us to the title that we have been working so hard for," said Kazi Inam Ahmed, MD of the franchise.

In the last edition, Titans were in the last place. Watson said, "I am super excited to join the Khulna Titans for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League season. The BPL is a tournament that I have always wanted to play in and now I finally get my chance. There are so many great cricketers playing in the BPL from the local Bangladesh stars to the overseas superstars, so it is going to be very special to finally be a part of it."

He also hoped to bring the title home and that he shared he was excited to play in BPL and in front of the loving crowd.
