The cricket match was being played at the Manuka Oval stadium in Australia. The Sri Lankan team were batting, when Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison was seen running on to the field with a drink carrier in his hand.
He was seen wearing an Australian team cap, the Prime Minister who deliver the drinks was also seen giving high fives to team players.
These unusual moments were captured and posted on social media that went viral in minutes. This gesture from the Prime Minister has drawn a lot of appreciation from cricket fans around the world.
The Australian team are all set to host Sri Lanka for a three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series which will begin in Adelaide on Sunday (October 27).
