Cricket is a game of raw emotions. The field has seen many players lose their cool and many fights. In CWC19, Bangladesh faced South Africa during the fifth match. A frustrated South Africa fast bowler Lungi Ngidi was seen throwing the ball at Bangladesh opening batsman Tamim Iqbal.

In the seventh over Iqbal played a straight delivery back to Ngidi. In a futile attempt to run-out the batsman, Ngidi fired a throw which ended up being targeted at Iqbal’s body, reports Sports Rush.

In a bid to protest himself from getting hit, Iqbal stopped the ball with his bat before expressing shock at the bowler’s reaction for he never went out of the crease. Having got hit for a couple of boundaries off Soumya Sarkar in the same over, perhaps Ngidi couldn’t control his disappointment, the report further says.

But both the team or the players didn't end up fighting as a result and continued the match. However, Twitterati disagreed with the behaviour. Later, Ngidi had to walk off the field after suffering a hamstring injury. He had to leave the field in order to receive treatment for a tight left hamstring.
