IPL 2020: CSK CEO Shares Update on Dwayne Bravo and Ambati Rayudu's Return in Team
Home > News Shots > Sports newsAfter facing two back to back defeats with Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Delhi Capitals (DC), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will today lock horns against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
After a break of five days, CSK will be seen in action and fans are hoping to see them win this game. Meanwhile, CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan has given some positive news on the return of Ambati Rayudu and Dwayne Bravo ahead of the team’s next match.
“Rayudu has recovered well from a hamstring strain and will play in the next game. He ran and sprinted during training and batted without any discomfort at the nets,” the CSK CEO told Sportstar.
“He [Bravo] bowled well at the nets,” said Viswanathan. He further added that CSK, who lost their last two games against Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Delhi Capitals (DC) respectively will make a comeback in their next game. “We have bounced back from adversity in the past. We will do so again.”
Talking about Rayudu, he was a star player during the opening match against Mumbai Indians (MI). Since his absence, the team has struggled to put runs on the board. So for the SRH encounter, Rayudu is all set to make his return and hope to make a return in place of Murali Vijay.
On the other hand, Dwayne Bravo has missed all three games for the franchise so far. In his place, Sam Curran has been a successful replacement for the team, but fans are still waiting to see the Bravo excitement on the field. Currently, Bravo has also been rumoured to be fit and might replace Josh Hazlewood in the team.
