The legendary English player Alastair Cook announced that the fifth Test match between India and England would be his last as an English player. He made a vital contribution in his final Test with his 33rd Test century. Emotions were running high as Cook walked back to the dressing room.

Emotions spilled over to the press conference as Cook received a unique yet fitting gift from the English media. To commemorate each of his 33 Test hundreds, Cook was gifted 33 beer bottles, each with a personalised message.

"There have been ups and downs but you dealt with us very professionally. We just want to show our appreciation for everything. We have got a little gift. You said to me once when we were out for a dinner that you are not really a wine drinker but you're a beer man, a lager man. So we got you 33 [beer bottles for you]. And on each beer there's a little message from each member of the media," said a journalist.

The calm and composed cook stood up, shook hands with the journalist and thanked the media for the kind gesture.
