Australia opener Aaron Finch on Tuesday broke his own record by blasting the highest over T20I score against Zimbabwe in Harare. Finch smashed 172 from 76 deliveries in Aussie's second match of the T20 tri-series involving Zimbabwe, Pakistan and Australia.
He brought half-century off just 22 balls and raced to the century from 50 balls. His campaign included 16 fours and 10 sixes. Finch together with D'Arcy Short (46 off 42) built the highest opening partnership in T20Is, 223 runs off 116 balls.
Finch was dismissed when he was just three runs short of the highest ever T20 score. Chris Gayle had blasted a humongous 175 in an Indian Premier League match in 2013.
