According to reports, a boy from Chhattisgarh facing extreme poverty scored 90 per cent in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains. Balmukund Paikra is the son of a government school cook who earns Rs 40 a day. The boy studied at Sankalp Shikshan Sansthan, a government-run coaching centre.
Balmukund reportedly said, "The teachers here are very good. I was able to learn a lot. My dream is to become an engineer. I wish that everyone becomes successful in their life."
According to the teachers at the coaching centre, every student who comes there put in a lot of effort and dedication. Reportedly, another student, who is the son of a farmer from the same centre scored 94 per cent in the exam.
