The line talks about “Modern Women” that could be roughly translated as “Walk with your head high and fearless look as the earth embraces those who stand by the ethics of nature”.
A Tamil film has been made with the title “Nerkonda Paarvai” which talks about the role of “modern women” in today’s world while the lead character, Ajith Kumar plays a lawyer. A Mumbai based woman has written a sweet Facebook story about her father who aspired to become a lawyer in his early days but could not pursue as he was not financially suite up. But, now he is pursuing his dream in a law college where his daughter also studies.
The story was shared by the Facebook page “Humans of Bombay”. It starts with “My father was always interested in the world of law- he loved courts, hearings and knowing more and more about cases. He wanted to study law, but when he was younger, his family couldn’t afford it. So instead he became a consultant, and worked at a firm. He worked day and night, to make sure that all of his kids have an education that sets them up for life!”
The further description leads to how her father sustained his dream and currently pursuing his dream. “So believe it or not, now my father and I are in the same college, and he’s actually my junior! We have so much fun together — we talk about our professors, our classmates and even our assignments. In fact even during our break, my father sits with my friends and they all love his company!”
The man has worked all his life to make his two daughters and a son get educated (One of his daughters is a doctor and the other daughter, son are studying law in the same college where he studies). Now, he pursues his dream without wondering about the age and realizing education has no limits. Well, with such perseverance for his dreams and concern over his daughters to stand high in society, he could be called a ‘Nerkonda Paarvai’ father.
