Man eats dinner alone in restaurant, what hotel staff did for him is going viral
Home > News Shots > Inspiring newsIn the busy life, we often lack company as we do our everyday things. Eating with someone might help us relax after a long hard day but in the fast-food life, we seldom have time to eat.
Prakash Mallya, MD at Intel India, stopped for a meal at Trident hotel in Bandra Kurla. Seeing him eating alone, the hotel staff placed a fish bowl on his table to ensure he had company.
Touched by the gesture, he tweeted “The hotel staff come by to leave this on my table as company given I was eating alone. So nice & thoughtful and something that’s never happened in all my travel thus farš!”
This soon went viral on social media with people lauding the gesture and some claiming that a few other hotels have also done it for them recounting sweet memories.
Hotel officials said “At Trident Bandra Kurla – a large part of the clientele involves guests travelling on business who frequently dine alone. This delightful gesture of placing a fish bowl on the table is to keep guests engaged, thus adding a personal touch to their meal experience," reports Indian Express.
