Mahindra owner's reply to this little girl on Twitter is so cute, you'll love it!
Home > News Shots > Inspiring newsAnand Mahindra has shared a picture of a letter he has received from an 11-year-old girl on Twitter. The letter details about the trouble with horn and honking and a plan to curb it and it impressed the business tycoon enough to share it on Twitter.
In her letter, the little girl wrote how she loves long drives and noted that many people honk unnecessarily in traffic. "They do not understand that honking does not make the vehicle move," she said.
She asked Mr. Mahindra to implement a horn in all the cars produced by his company that could only honk five times in 10 minutes, with each honk lasting only three seconds. "In this way the noise will be minimised and our roads will be quieter," she explained.
The chairman was pleased by the letter and took it to Twitter to share his feelings. His tweet reads, "At the end of a tiring day, when you see something like this in the mail ... the weariness vanishes ... I know I'm working for people like her, who want a better---and quieter world!"
Tweeple have loved the tweet and it has received over 14,000 likes and over 2000 retweets. You can check the original letter and Mr. Mahindra's reply here.
