In an inspiring case in Mumbai, a father and son graduated together this year. After Hazim Farook Shaikh enrolled himself for a degree in Mumbai University, his father Mohammad Farook Shaikh, a taxi driver also showed interest to study.
Mohammad got himself enrolled in YB Chavan University in Maharashtra. Mohammad reportedly used to wake up early in the morning and study before leaving for work. He took up classes regularly over the weekend. Hazim said, "I used to clear whatever doubts he had. I am happy he has completed his graduation."
Mohammad was not the least uncertain in his decision even after being called an 'uncle' at the university. Both father and son cleared their exams this year. Mohammad scored 46 per cent and Hazim scored 56 per cent.
