Two arrested for kidnapping 7-year-old neighbor girl for human sacrifice on Holi

The kidnapping of a girl inorder to kill her by listening to a witch for a marriage to take place, has left everyone startled.

Sonu Balmiki hails from Chhijarsi village in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh. He has not been married for a long time. So he met a magician named Satendra along with his friend Neetu who had said that a human life must be sacrificed if the marriage has to take place.

Believing this, Sonu abducted a 7-year-old girl from a family living near his house. Following this, the girl's parents had registered a missing complaint to the police on the 13th. While the cops conducted a serious investigation, a CCTV footage of the area was examined.

Sonu and Neetu were then suspected by the police ans were arrested and investigated. They both confessed that the witch had asked to perform a human sacrifice and that is why they abducted the girl.

He also claimed to have hidden the girl at his sister's house in Baghpat because the witch had told him to sacrifice her on the day of the Holi festival. Police immediately went to the scene and rescued the girl.

The police now have arrested Sonu and Neetu and are also actively searching for three others, including witch Satendra. Commissioner Alok Singh lauded the police team for acting swiftly in the case and rescuing the girl on time.
