Bike bought for Rs 71000, but pays Rs.15.44 lakh for its number plate! What happened?

The incident where a number plate was bought for 15 lakh rupees for a new bike that was bought for Rs. 71000 has caused surprise.

Brij Mohan (age 42) is from Chandigarh. He has been doing advertising business. He recently bought a Honda Activa bike. He has decided to buy a fancy number for this bike which he bought for Rs 71000.

The Fancy Numbers have been auctioned off by the Chandigarh State Registration and Licensing Authority. A total of 378 numbers have been auctioned. A total of Rs 1.5 crore has gone up for auction. Brij Mohan has auctioned the number CH01- CJ-0001 for Rs 15 lakh 44 thousand. Following this, the number CH01- CJ-0002 has been purchased for 5 lakh 40 thousand rupees.

Brij Mohan said, “I will use the number for my Activa, which I bought recently. But eventually, I will use (it) for car.”
