Google Pay transaction helps Goa Police nab a killer - Here's what happened!
Home > News Shots > India newsAs the stench emanated from a room in a luxury hotel in Goa, various shocking reports awaited the police.
A man and a woman have been staying in a hotel room in Goa for the past few days.
Subsequently, a few days later, the room was locked from the outside. In such a situation, the room suddenly begins to stink.
Thus, the accommodation staff has reached the place. Following this, when the door of the room was opened and they went inside, it was said that the body of a young woman was in a rotten condition. They were shocked and immediately informed the police.
Accordingly, the police who arrived at the scene are investigating. Then, it was revealed that the deceased woman was Shreya. She was accompanied by Ganesh Virnodkar from Maharashtra who had taken a room and stayed there for the past few days. However, no details about him are known to those in the hotel.
Even when the room was taken, the hotel sources said that the ID was given by the woman. Thus, the police could not immediately trace the details of Ganesh who was with Shreya. It was in such a situation that the police came to know that Ganesh had paid the money through Google Pay at the hotel.
Later, with the help of Google Pay number, Ganesh Virnodkar was found to be in Maharashtra. Following this, the police rushed to Maharashtra, picked up Ganesh and interrogated him. At the time, Ganesh said that Shreya had been suffering from stomach ache and had left the room the next day.
Similarly, Ganesh has reportedly mentioned that he has no idea how Shreya died. However, it is alleged that he did not inform the police about the details of why Ganesh locked her inside. As a result, he is being investigated by the police.
On the other hand, the information also mentions that Shreya is already married and has a child. Police are also investigating the relationship between him and Ganesh.
