Power Crisis: Dhoni's wife Sakshi questions the Jharkhand government!
Home > News Shots > India newsSakshi, Dhoni's wife, tweeted about the power outage.
Power outages have been reported in several states of India for the past few days. Although India generates electricity in many ways, most of it is generated by coal. But coal prices have been rising for the past few years. In this context, the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia has led to a sharp rise in coal prices.
The Federation of Electrical Engineers had warned about this a few days ago. It said the problem of coal shortage would intensify and hence power cuts across the country were likely to increase. The agency warned of the problem, especially in 12 states, including Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Punjab, Jharkhand and Haryana.
Meanwhile, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi had criticized the government for not handling the coal issue properly and for having only enough coal for 8 days. For this, the required coal is in stock for 30 days. The federal government explained that there was no need for fear.
Currently, the state of Jharkhand is also suffering from power outages. Sakshi, wife of former Indian cricket captain Dhoni, has questioned this on her Twitter page. In it, ‘We continue to do our duty to save electricity. But why has there been a power cut in the state of Jharkhand for so many years? I have been asking this question to the government as a taxpayer for many years, ”he testified. This is currently causing a stir in the state.
As a tax payer of Jharkhand just want to know why is there a power crisis in Jharkhand since so many years? We are doing our part by consciously making sure we save energy!
