Women fight over seats, disrupts train service
Home > News Shots > India newsAs reported by Deccan Chronicle, the incident took place when the Kasara-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) local train reached Diva junction at 6:56 am.
Women passengers stood at the door of the compartment blocking entry, so passengers waiting to board got angry and this resulted in an argument between the women.
It was followed by chaos as commuters pulled out the women inside the compartment and started agitation. But after the police intervened, tracks were cleared.
Though the train service has resumed, the trains are running 15 to 20 minutes late. Mumbai train rush is very familiar and it transports thousands of passengers every day.
