One of the commoners in New Delhi's Arjun Nagar was shocked to find a skimming device when she attempted to withdraw cash from a Canara Bank ATM. The ATM user demonstrated the device's operation and captured it to release the video on her Twitter space.

Ever since she uploaded the video, it has gone viral and there were many precautions circulated by the people of good interests including Canada Bank. “Your card can be cloned at ATMs This ATM had a camera & chip installed very cleverly. WATCH video to see what to check before using ATMs,"  (sic) wrote Rosy who uploaded the video.

In Response, Canara Bank acknowledged her tweet saying "Hi Rosy, we, at Canara Bank take strict measures to safeguard our customers. We immediately located and removed the skimmer from Gowtami Nagar, DELHI ATM & no data has been compromised. You may use our Canara MServe app to switch off your Debit or Credit card when not in use," (sic)

Vijay Shekhar, the founder of Paytm also shared the video adding some precautionary measures from his side. He tweeted, "When using any ATM, you must do these checks. Also see, how thin and highly capable camera / memory / processors have created new problems," (sic).
